They take the name of the famous Big Twin Harley Davidson from 1936 to 1947, but their sound is very different from the characteristic “potato potato”. Jack and Jock, the two cowboys who make up the Knucklehead group, are the
specialists in the massive and serious sound called “dark country”. Jack’s voice and guitar take root in the
blues and country standards, but also psychedelic rock. As for Jock, he is rather hard-rock and alternative hip-hop. Mix the two, shake well, and you’ve got an explosive cocktail of fat blues, slide guitar, and gritty riffs.
